United Airlines NYC Half Fundraising Agreement

Fundraising Requirement

Each Fred’s Team event has a fundraising minimum that I agree to raise or pay. This minimum ensures that Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) keeps the Fred’s Team program costs low to maintain credibility with all of its donors and, most importantly, to maximize the funds invested in cancer research. To secure my spot with Fred’s Team, I agree to pay a nonrefundable kickoff fee. This fee will be counted as a charitable donation toward my overall fundraising requirement. I am also responsible for a separate fee to be paid to New York Road Runners to claim my entry. By accepting this entry provided by Fred’s Team, I agree that all fees to MSK and New York Road Runners are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for fulfilling my $2,500 fundraising requirement by March 30, 2026, and any remaining balance will be charged to my credit card on or after March 30, 2026.

For Participants Registered With a Team

As a team member, I am responsible for fulfilling my personal fundraising requirement of $2,500 by March 30, 2026. I understand that any team gifts will be evenly distributed among all members of the team, including team members who have already fulfilled their individual fundraising commitment. I acknowledge that the team fundraising goal is equal to the sum of the individual fundraising requirements of each team member, including the team captain.

Entry Acceptance Policy

I understand that New York Road Runners will send me my 2026 United Airlines NYC Half entry, and it is my responsibility to accept this entry on behalf of Fred’s Team. I understand that if I do not pay the race registration fee and accept the entry within the Fred’s Team’s deadline, Fred’s Team reserves the right to cancel my entry and provide it to another runner. I agree that all donations are nonrefundable and nontransferable to other Fred’s Team runners.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that if I withdraw from the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half, I must notify Fred’s Team before January 15, 2026, for the $2,500 fundraising requirement to be waived. Furthermore, I agree that all donations are nonrefundable and nontransferable to other Fred’s Team runners. If I withdraw after January 15, 2026, I understand that my fundraising requirement cannot be waived and my credit card will be charged the outstanding balance.

Deferral Policy

I understand that if I withdraw from the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half after January 15, 2026, and would like to defer my entry, I must notify Fred’s Team by March 6, 2026. I acknowledge that I must fulfill my fundraising requirement of $2,500 to defer my entry to the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half. If I do not raise $2,500 by March 30, 2026, the outstanding balance will be charged to my credit card. Funds raised are only transferrable to the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half.
