Fundraising Requirement
Each Fred’s Team event has a fundraising minimum that I agree to raise or pay. This minimum ensures that Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) keeps the Fred’s Team program costs low to maintain credibility to all of their donors and, most importantly, maximize the funds invested in cancer research. To secure my spot with Fred’s Team, I agree to pay a nonrefundable kickoff fee of $125. This fee will be counted as a charitable donation toward my overall fundraising requirement. By accepting this entry provided by Fred’s Team, I agree that all fees to MSK are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for fulfilling these two fundraising deadlines.
By July 1, 2025, I must fulfill at least half of my $5,500 fundraising requirement. If I fail to do so, I understand that my entry may be cancelled.
By October 6, 2025, I must fulfill my $5,500 fundraising requirement and any remaining balance will be charged to my credit card on or after October 6, 2025.
For Participants Registered with a Team
As a team member, I am responsible for fulfilling my personal fundraising requirement of $5,500 by October 6, 2025. I understand that any team gifts will be evenly distributed among all members of the team, including team members who have already fulfilled their individual fundraising commitment. I acknowledge that the team fundraising goal is equal to the sum of the individual fundraising requirements of each team member, including the team captain.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that if I withdraw from the 2025 BMW Berlin Marathon, I must notify Fred’s Team before July 1, 2025, for the $5,500 fundraising requirement to be waived. Furthermore, I agree that all donations are nonrefundable and nontransferable to other Fred’s Team runners.
If I withdraw after July 1, 2025, I understand that my fundraising requirement cannot be waived and my credit card will be charged the outstanding balance. Furthermore, I understand that my Fred’s Team entry is not able to be deferred to the following year. If I am not able to run, I must fulfill my fundraising requirement of $5,500 by October 6, 2025. All donations are nonrefundable and nontransferrable to other Fred’s Team runners or races.
