Fundraising Requirement
Each Fred’s Team event has a fundraising minimum that I agree to raise or pay. This minimum ensures that Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) keeps the Fred’s Team program costs low to maintain credibility to all of their donors and, most importantly, maximize the funds invested in cancer research. To secure my spot with Fred’s Team, I agree to pay a nonrefundable kickoff fee of $125. This fee will be counted as a charitable donation toward my overall fundraising requirement. By accepting this entry provided by Fred’s Team, I agree that all fees to MSK are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for fulfilling these two fundraising deadlines.
By June 10, 2026, I must fulfill at least half of my $5,500 fundraising requirement. If I fail to do so, I understand that my entry may be cancelled.
By October 12, 2026, I must fulfill my $5,500 fundraising requirement and any remaining balance will be charged to my credit card on or after October 12, 2026.
For Participants Registered with a Team
As a team member, I am responsible for fulfilling my personal fundraising requirement of $5,500 by October 12, 2026. I understand that any team gifts will be evenly distributed among all members of the team, including team members who have already fulfilled their individual fundraising commitment. I acknowledge that the team fundraising goal is equal to the sum of the individual fundraising requirements of each team member, including the team captain.
Entry Acceptance Policy
I understand that my 2026 BMW Berlin Marathon entry will be sent to me by Realbuzz Group Limited and it is my responsibility to accept this entry from Realbuzz Group Limited on behalf of Fred’s Team. I understand that if I do not register and accept the entry within the Fred’s Team’s deadline, Fred’s Team reserves the right to cancel my entry and provide it to another runner. I agree that any and all donations are non-refundable and non-transferrable to other Fred’s Team runners.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that if I withdraw from the 2026 BMW Berlin Marathon, I must notify Fred’s Team before June 10, 2026, for the $5,500 fundraising requirement to be waived. Furthermore, I agree that this entry is nontransferable. If I withdraw after June 10, 2026, I understand that my fundraising requirement cannot be waived and my credit card will be charged the outstanding balance. Furthermore, I agree that my Fred’s Team entry is not able to be deferred to the following year. If I am not able to run, I must fulfill my fundraising requirement of $5,500 by October 12, 2026.
All donations are nonrefundable and nontransferrable to other Fred’s Team runners or races.
For Participants Registered at the Leadership Giving Level
I understand that if I am awarded a Leadership Giving level entry, I am personally responsible for making a onetime $10,000 donation to Fred’s Team within two months of registration. After this deadline, I understand that if I have not made the donation, my entry will be cancelled. Furthermore, I acknowledge that any additional donations will be collected on my Fred’s Team fundraising page, and I agree to the Entry Acceptance Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Deferral Policy.
