Please fill out the form below to apply for a Fred’s Team race entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. We are looking for people who are passionate about fundraising for cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and advancing MSK’s mission of ending cancer for life.
If you have a guaranteed race entry from New York Road Runners and would like to run with Fred's Team, you do not need to apply below. Please contact fredsteam@mskcc.org.
The application deadline is September 7, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET. Runners will be selected on a rolling basis through that date, or until all spots are filled. Everyone who applies will receive a status update via email on the following dates:
- February 10, 2026
- March 24, 2026
- May 5, 2026
- June 16, 2026
- July 28, 2026
- September 8, 2026
Once all entries are filled, the remaining applications will be added to a waitlist. If spots open due to cancellations, applicants will be notified via email by September 7, 2026.
Fundraising Commitment and Goal
All participants must commit to a minimum fundraising requirement and a fundraising goal. View the benefits at each level.
In addition to your minimum fundraising requirement, you must set a fundraising goal, which is the amount you plan to raise. Aim high! The more money you raise, the bigger the impact you will make on cancer research. Please note: All participants are responsible for paying the New York Road Runners entry fee.
Twenty entries are also available for individuals who make a onetime $10,000 donation to MSK at the Leadership Giving level. Includes all benefits at the $8,500 level. You cannot fundraise for this donation, but we encourage all Leadership Giving level participants to raise additional funds during the season.
Submitting this application does not guarantee you a race entry into the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Please only fill out this form once. You will receive a receipt of submission at the email address you provided above.
